Are these rosaries guaranteed?
They are. If one breaks, simply send us the remains, and we'll fix/remake it. Use the contact page to get in touch with us for more details concerning returns.
How big are the beads?
The Hail Mary beads are 6mm. The Our Father beads are 8mm.
Those beads seem small--can I have one made with larger beads?
You can. Use the contact page and send me an email. We can make the same rosaries with 8mm Hail Mary beads and 10mm Our Father beads. It'll probably end up costing $50 + shipping. I would advise, though, that most men are satisfied with the 6/8 mm sizes. It keeps the string from being too long and tangling while driving or touching the floor if sitting or kneeling and allowing one's hand to hang down.
Why don't the beads take up all the space? Why is there bare wire?
If the beads filled up the wire space, then when the rosary is crumpled up and crammed into a small space (like a pocket) the beads will push against each other--either breaking the wire or actually breaking beads. With a small amount of slack, we eliminate that problem. But aside from that, leaving slack allows men to slide the beads along as they pray, making it easier to differentiate between one bead and the next.
How much slack is there in the wire?
I try to leave about 1/2 - 3/4 inches of slack. For most men, this is comfortable.
I have very thick fingers... could I have one made with MORE slack?
Sure--during the checkout process, there's a way to add special instructions. Just indicate there if you need more (or slightly less) slack. Or use the contact page after you've completed your order.
I see only a few options... do you have any more colorful or elaborate beaded rosaries?
I have some, but they aren't for sale.
Can I have a custom made rosary with different beads?
